Emergency First Aid at Work

  

Session duration: Two hours

By the end of the session learners will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of recognising potentially life threatening situations in the workplace
  • Understand the importance of knowing what the procedures for emergencies are in the place where you work and knowing where basic first aid equipment should be found
  • Consider what the differences might be between life threatening situations and injuries that are less dangerous
  • Understand the importance of record keeping and reporting to the appointed first aid representative in the workplace.
