NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) recognise your competence in specified areas of your work – that is, your ability and skill in actually doing the tasks required.
This is demonstrated through evidence that you provide and this is supported by observations from someone who assesses you in your place of work.
Your evidence also has to show that you understand why you go about the activities in the way you do and that you have a level of underpinning knowledge that supports you to deliver good competent work.
NVQs can include a taught programme to help provide and develop that underpinning knowledge.
We offer NVQs in the following areas:
We also offer a range of short seminars that specifically support the care induction standards and the health and social care NVQs.
Funding
Underpinning funding for training and development is becoming more difficult to achieve, however funding may be available for learners undertaking NVQs. To discuss the options, please get in touch. |
