Level 2 EDI Award in Equality and Diversity

In completing the EDI Level 2 Award in Equality and Diversity, learners will gain knowledge of the following areas:  

• The key features of a culture which promotes equality and values diversity
• The importance of the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity for an effective workplace
• Behaviour appropriate to the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity
• How to actively help others in the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity
• How to contribute effectively to promoting equality and valuing diversity

The qualification is suitable for learners who are seeking employment or already in employment. It is a generic qualification so is appropriate for all sectors.

The qualification will be accredited onto the QCF. It consists of one unit worth 4 credits. The unit will be assessed via a multiple choice test which will be available as a paper-based test or online.
